Frequently
Asked Questions about...
Escobar Truck Equipment
Corporation
Q:
What are some of your areas of specialization?
A: Although we are a full service Metal Fabrication shop,
much of our work involves Press Braking, Shearing, Punching, Notching
and Welding. Many times this work is part of our Truck Body Repair
or Truck Body Fabrication work, but we also do a considerable
amount of "non vehicle" related metal fabrication.
Q: Do you
often provide assistance to customers that know what they need
but don't have an exact idea what the final product should look
like?
A: Oh yes! Many times customers bring in rough draft plans,
we help with the design and work with them to turn their custom
idea into a reality.
Q: Do you
help customers in choosing the proper or best materials to use
in the fabrication process?
A: We require specific information about the project, the
finished product, projected uses, etc. in order to ensure that
the proper materials are utilized. There are other factors that
we must take into consideration in regard to choosing the right
gauge of metal to use and what type of finish that's best suited
for your particular needs.
Q: What
is a typical time frame for Dump Truck Bodies, Landscape Trailers
and Service or Utility Truck Bodies and Storage Boxes?
A: Normal start to finish project cycles are between 4-5
weeks. Shorter turn around times can be accommodated for certain
projects if there is a urgent need for a quick completion.
Q: How long are your quotes valid?
A: Due to a variety of factors, many of which are beyond
the control of any company in our industry, in most cases 30 days
is standard.
Q: What
are you Payment Terms & Conditions?
A: Are terms are the 10th of the month and net 30 days.
Q: Do you do your own deliveries of the finished product?
A: No, but we have developed excellent freight rates over
the years with local common carriers. If you prefer, we can arrange
delivery of projects and parts using the freight line of your
choice.
